One studio.
One knife at a time.
JohnBovy Studio is a small painting studio in Istanbul.
We work almost entirely with the palette knife, pressing paint on in thick layers so every stroke keeps its edge. Up close you see ridges, valleys and mixed color; from across the room you see the whole picture. No two paintings come out exactly alike, even when we paint the same design again.
We sell through our Etsy shop, where you can read our buyers' reviews, choose a size and ask us anything before you order.
